Busesa Nursery School was started in 2013 within the primary school, in order to encourage the younger children to start learning at an early age.  The 60 young children used one of the primary school classrooms.  It was very successful and quickly grew in numbers.  Thus, in June 2016 we constructed a formal 3.5 nursery school block, split into three classes, equipped with its own latrines and water tank, all within a fence to keep the younger children in and older children out.  The numbers then rose to 201, with an average of 70 children in each class.

In 2019 we added a second 3.5 classroom block, plus extra facilities, in order to accommodate the growing numbers. The excellent head teacher, Rose Moiti, has been in charge since 2014 and there are now 4 certified nursery school teachers plus three assistants. We expect to see the enrolment increase over the next few years.
