    This child protection policy is our statement of intent which demonstrates our commitment tosafeguarding children from harm and makes clear to all in the organisation, and those who come into  contact with us, what is required in relation to the protection of children and that child abuse in any form is unacceptable to The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund (The HvSMF).

  • Finance Policy
    As a registered charity and company limited by guarantee it is imperative that we adopt rigorous financial controls and procedures throughout the organisation, which will enable us to fulfil the expectations of the Charity Commission, Companies House, funders and donors, and other stakeholders. It will also ensure financial viability for the future of the organisation.

  • Anti-Money Laundering Policy
    The trustees of The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund are committed to protecting our charitable funds against all types of fraudulent activity, including money laundering.   As a registered charity, we must comply with charity law. This includes ensuring that our assets are safeguarded and properly used to meet our charitable objectives. We also have a duty to protect the public funds we receive. Our resources must not be used to support criminal or terrorist purposes or in any way that breaches applicable sanctions.

    It is our policy to conduct all our business in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and we are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate and in implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.
